09/16/2002

Changes:

  • Opening Spawn Windows no longer 'steal' the focus.

  • More changes to highlights to correct display issues.

  • Issues with the separate buffer option always happening, even when not checked. (note to self: SeparateHistory and SeparateBuffer flags should not be interchanged!)

  • Gagged text no longer goes into Spawn events, potentially triggering activity.

4.4.02

  • Resolved an issue where the first sent string wasn't available for the 'Repeat Last Send' command.

  • Resolved an issue where local highlights were canceling game provided coloring after a wrap.

4.4

09/08/2002

Additions:

  • Added 'expression' evaluation for events, which offers a richer form of pattern matching.  See the help file for more information.

  • You can now define a sound event to fire always, when connection is active, or when connection is inactive.

  • Added option under Preferences for separate history buffer per world.

  • Spawn patterns will now match even when the player is inside @program.

  • Added 2 more most recently used spots.

  • Added option to turn off email click support.

  • You can now set the speed of the flashing text.

  • New Command: /sendall <string>

Changes:

  • Major change to Aliases.  They were executing only to the foreground window which made things like background timers fail to execute aliases unless they were the active window.  It also caused aliases to fail to work from spawn windows.

  • Modified some of the system code which is supposed to enhance string speed.  We'll see.

  • /grab command will now strip any ansi codes in the text. (evaluated codes, like: OOC Shae's Office On Duty, not %ch codes.)

  • Added a progress indicator when adding the buffer to a log file, made a few changes to make the process not so long.

  • Modified the upload file form format.

  • Modified look of New Connection Wizard.

Fixes:

  • Resolved an conflict with Close and Logging on the File Menu alt key list.

  • Received Third Party Fix for List Index Out of Bounds error.

  • Found a problem where Global Spawns were not executing against ANSI free strings for matching.

  • Multi lined (wrapped) html links are now properly kept together.  You still need to click on the first line to activate the link, but it's a start...

  • Found and fixed a bug where editing a Spawn Autosay doesn't update already open windows.

  • Resolved an issue where spawn windows opening when the application was not active might cause inconsistencies in the activity notice.

  • Fixed a typo in the /qcmush command indicating that you were opening it as a MUD type.  (Thanks Adam)

  • Using /qcmush can result in creating the same world name twice, which will erase the primary one if you choose not to save it.  Fixed.

  • Resolved a sound test issue which was interfering with the test button on the Events form.

  • F-Keys now work from Spawn Windows.
